QuickToLake Privacy Policy

Effective April 28, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how QuickToLake LLC, a Nevada limited liability company, collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects information when business customers use the QuickToLake software-as-a-service platform. QuickToLake helps customers ingest data from connected business systems, including QuickBooks Online, into customer-designated storage destinations such as Azure Data Lake Storage.

1. Scope

QuickToLake is a business-to-business service. We process information on behalf of customer organizations that choose which systems to connect, which data to sync, and where that data is delivered. This policy applies to our websites, application, support, billing, and connected-data processing activities.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information, such as name, business email address, organization, role, authentication identifiers, and login activity.
  • Billing information, such as subscription plan, payment status, customer identifiers, invoice metadata, and transaction records processed through Stripe. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers.
  • Connection information, such as QuickBooks company or realm identifiers, OAuth tokens, token expiration times, selected entities, sync schedules, checkpoints, and integration settings.
  • Customer Data from connected systems, such as accounting records, customers, vendors, items, invoices, payments, accounts, transactions, metadata, and other records a customer authorizes QuickToLake to access.
  • Destination information, such as storage configuration, tenant identifiers, and delivery status for customer-designated data lake or cloud storage locations.
  • Usage, device, and log information, such as IP address, browser, device, pages viewed, API activity, sync results, error messages, diagnostic logs, and security events.
  • Support communications, such as messages, attachments, feedback, and troubleshooting details you provide.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • provide, operate, secure, monitor, maintain, and improve QuickToLake;
  • authenticate users and administer customer accounts;
  • connect to authorized source systems and destination storage;
  • sync, transform, stage, transmit, and write Customer Data as configured;
  • process billing, subscriptions, tax, invoices, and account notices;
  • provide support, diagnose errors, and respond to requests;
  • detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, and policy violations;
  • comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect rights and safety; and
  • analyze aggregate or de-identified usage to improve performance and reliability.

We do not sell Customer Data. We do not use Customer Data from connected QuickBooks companies for advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

4. QuickBooks and Connected Data

When you authorize a QuickBooks Online connection, QuickToLake receives access tokens and the specific QuickBooks data made available through the permissions you grant and the product features you use. We use that data to provide the sync, monitoring, support, and delivery functionality you request.

You can revoke QuickBooks access through QuickToLake, through your Intuit account settings, or by contacting us. Revocation may stop future syncs but will not automatically delete data already delivered to your destination storage or retained where legally or operationally required.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Customer administrators and authorized users within your organization;
  • service providers that support hosting, databases, identity, monitoring, email, analytics, payments, customer support, security, and infrastructure;
  • connected third-party platforms you authorize, including Intuit, Microsoft, Stripe, and destination cloud services;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and legal representatives;
  • government authorities, courts, or third parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of the Service; and
  • parties involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections for Customer Data.

6. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted transport, access controls, token protection, logging, and least-privilege operational practices. No system is perfectly secure, and customers remain responsible for securing their accounts, destination storage, connected systems, and user permissions.

7. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to provide security, authentication, session management, and core Service functionality. With your consent, we may also use optional analytics cookies, including Google Analytics, to understand website and product usage and improve QuickToLake.

You can accept, reject, or change optional cookie choices using the cookie preferences control in the application. Where legally required, optional analytics, preference, marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies will not be used unless you allow them. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale or sharing for applicable California privacy laws.

8. Retention and Deletion

We retain account, billing, support, diagnostic, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business operations.

OAuth tokens and connection metadata are retained while a connection is active or as otherwise needed for security, audit, or legal purposes. Sync logs and checkpoints may be retained to troubleshoot data delivery, prove completion, avoid duplicate loads, and maintain operational integrity.

Upon written request from an authorized customer administrator, we will delete or de-identify Customer Data in systems under our control within a reasonable period, unless retention is required or permitted by law, security, backup, audit, dispute, or legitimate business needs. Data delivered to customer-designated storage is controlled by the customer and must be deleted from that destination by the customer.

9. International Processing

QuickToLake may process information in the United States and other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with data protection laws different from those in your location.

10. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing any required notices, obtaining permissions from their users, workers, customers, vendors, and other data subjects, and ensuring that use of QuickToLake complies with applicable laws, contracts, and internal policies. Customers should not connect or upload data they are not authorized to process.

11. Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent. Because QuickToLake primarily processes Customer Data on behalf of customer organizations, requests relating to Customer Data may need to be directed to the applicable customer administrator. We will reasonably assist customers with verified requests as required by law.

12. Children

QuickToLake is not directed to children and is not intended for personal, household, or child use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when reasonable.
